What Motivates You?

Are you one of those people who don’t know how to stay motivated to work out? You’re not alone! We all go through this struggle. It’s easy to get discouraged when you’re not seeing the progress you want, or when you don’t have the time to hit the gym. But don’t give up yet! Here are some tips to help you stay motivated to work out and reach your fitness goals.

First of all, it’s important to have a goal in mind when you start working out. Whether it’s to lose weight, gain muscle, improve your stamina, or simply stay healthy, having a goal will help you stay motivated. Once you decide on your goal, it’s also helpful to make a plan and set a timeline to help you stay on track. It’s also important to set realistic goals and to not be too hard on yourself. If you don’t hit your goals day one, that’s okay.

Don’t give up! Just take a step back and focus on what you can do to get back on track. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day. You did not get where you are overnight, be patient with yourself and keep moving forward.

Working out should be fun! Find a music playlist that motivates you, invite a friend to join you at the gym. Working out can be fun if you make it that way! There are so many ways to move your body swimming, surfing, skiing, hiking, biking!!! Try something new and enjoy your fitness. Being in the gym is great but make sure you are enjoying time with family and friends. Variety is the spice of life, mix it up!
